Days are filled with motion. Poets grab this motion (events) and create a story, a review, a memoir, sharing thoughts and emotions. Part of what I really like about poetry is that sometimes it seems like a puzzle. You have to read it and reread it to connect thoughts and feelings with words the poet has chosen. If you’re still and quiet enough, it can be quite moving. Maybe the best thing about poetry is that it’s completely, freely yours to design to your liking.
